Ali James 93 runs was the highlight of the day as he sword the Pacers Power Pac attack.

The young talented right hander batsman along with his open partner Jevon 'Boon' Howell shared in a record 173 opening partnership for Lion Hill. Ali James stroke 7 fours and 6 sixes in his knock of 93 runs. The first to be dismiss was Jevon 'Boon' Howell who had looked poised to record his first ever century of his career but he was caught on the square leg boundary in the fifteenth over by Danny Benjamin off Anthony Scott for 86 which included 3 fours and 8 sixes.

The introduction of Todd Purcell in the nineteenth over did the trick for Pacers Power Pac. He was struck for a six and a four in consecutive delivers by Ali James but kept his cool as he struck twice removing Ali James for a dazzling 93 runs as he hold out to long on to Michael Christopher and then one ball later claiming the dangerous Wayne Constant for 3 runs. Urvin Lewis ensured that the momentum was maintain with a solid score of 40 runs as he was the last man to out trapped lbw by Javid Goodwin. Lion Hill finished their innings on 303 all out off 28.2 overs. The pick of the bowlers for Pacer Power Pac were Karim Haywood 6 overs 4 wickets for 45 runs and Todd Purcell 6 overs 4 wickets for 70 runs.

In reply Pacers could only make 156 all out from 28.4 overs with notable contribution from Richard Dyer 38 runs, Danny Benjamin 22 runs and Todd Purcell 23 runs. The main wicket takers for Lion Hill were Colin Warner 6 overs 4 wickets for 29 runs, Marvin Webson 6 overs 3 wickets for 33 runs and Urvin Lewis 4.4 overs 2 wickets for 30 runs.
